Nothing much to say here, as these videos speak for themselves. Today isn’t a special day but every so often I come back and listen to these videos. Both of these videos are two of my favorite videos available online and I thought I would share them with you.
The first one is a recording of Ted Kennedy giving a eulogy Robert Kennedy. It’s a very emotional eulogy, and the end is very moving. It is done with some really nice music and picture montage.
In the first video, Ted Kennedy is reciting a part of a speech Bobby gave. Here is more of that speech called “Mindless Menace of Violence”
For along time now, I’ve been a huge fan of John F. Kennedy. Every now and again when I’m in my car and I’m not in the mood for music or listening to the radio I pop in a CD I burned several years ago that consists of a variety of different JFK speeches. It’s nice listening to a President who can form complete sentences and actually sounds like he knows what he is talking about. It’s a nice change from what we’ve been dealing with for the last seven years.
One of my favorite speeches is a speech called The President and the Press that Kennedy made April 27th, 1961 to the American Newspaper Publishers Association. I’ve listen to this so many times I practically have it memorized. He talks about secret societies and not holding back secrets from the American public.
I highly recommend that you take the time out of your day to sit back and listen to this speech because I can assure you, if nothing else, that you will gain a new respect for him.
