Support For McCain Confuses Me

John McCainI stand here with a puzzled look on my face while I try to comprehend why people are voting for John McCain. It baffles me when I hear that some 70% (or so) of Americans want out of Iraq, yet they vote for this war mongerer who knows as much about the economy as my fairly intelligent cat who figured out how to open the cabinets in my kitchen.

If I had to pick someone who was running on the GOP side who was the most unqualified, hands down it would be John McCain. People often mock Ron Paul and say how he should be running as a Democrat instead of a Republican, yet the republicans in this country have been voting for one of the most liberal candidates on the stage who turned “more conservative” to have a shot at this 2008 election. McCain was also quoted a few weeks back to saying that he has no problems keeping America in Iraq for 100 years if needed. That is 5 generations of Americans committed to a no-win war. Then he goes on saying that it isn’t American presents in the middle east that angers those countries. I wonder if this guy has ever read a book in his life, and if you know me that is saying a lot. I don’t understand why people are voting for him.

I can only assume that people are drawn to this false illusion that John McCain is some type of courageous wartime hero. I believe all Americans who served in our armed services should be treated with respect and honor, but sometimes enough is enough. When you lie about it and then cover your own tracks, thats where I have a problem.

Again, thank you for your service to our country McCain. But it is time to step down.

I recommend you watch these two “trailers” from a documentary coming out called “Missing, Presumed Dead.” McCain isn’t this war hero that he plays himself to be to win votes and excuse his arrogance that we need to continue fighting the Iraq.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I wish these McCain supporters would realize that if they vote for McCain they might as well sign their own death certificate. This man will run this country and it’s people right into the ground. I just want to take every republican and shake them and get it into their heads that they are killing this country. McCain doesn’t want to be president because he will be serving the people, he wants the job so he can get all the profits Bush has gotten from this fake war. WAKE UP PEOPLE!
