Jessica, I totally agree with you 100% and knowing that he has a lot of support from all over the world and the US, he has a great chance of winning the primaries. He has a superb voting record, better than any of the others.

Stan,
It is peculiar to me that you once supported Dr. Paul until you heard his opinion on Iraq. If you truly had "high regard" for him, you would have known his position before the debate, considering his main platform focuses on foreign policy. Also, to "lose regard" for the most honest and consistent man in Congress is hardly believable. Ron Paul's record is above reproach. He is consistently pro-life (not just with the unborn child, but also with American and Iraqi lives). I am baffled that you are "discouraged" that such a man has supporters--a man who defends the Constitution and our personal liberties with every fiber of his being. I am confused--how might the text message vote have been manipulated? Do you mean to say that Ron Paul supporters each have 10 cellphones so they can cast multiple votes? After all, it was impossible to vote more than once from the same phone. I do believe you will be quite shocked come primary time, when Dr. Paul's support is finally manifested in votes. You will see Democrats who have switched parties to vote for him; you will see young people who have never cared enough to vote before; you will see cynical voters who finally have found a candidate who isn't just working for the establishment and the GOP machine. As someone who used to think highly of Dr. Paul, you should revisit his positions, for they are constitutional and historically justified.

The Giuliani campaign either fed those insults masquerading as "questions" to the Fox Nazis, or they had them in advance. Giuliani is a criminal. If he gets in, I'm outta here.

Come on Stan, you don't expect a reader to believe you ever had a high regard for Dr. Paul. If what you said was really true then you show yourself as a very shallow thinker, a one trick pony, the phony friend who turns his back at the first disagreement, never to be heard from again. Give substantive examples where you disagree with the good doctor. He is far from being a nut case, as you ridiculed. You did a very poor job hiding your true colors, like the laughing ghouls from the debate night, your cheap attack falls on ears far more discerning than you apparently can imagine.
Regarding his support during and after the debate, it was very clear that support, applause etc. was coming from a specific section and not overall support from the audience. As far as the the vote on Fox, I'd have to say that it was stacked; & by the way it was calculated via text messaging NOT via phone. In my opinion, Mr. Paul has NO credibility in what he says, could you honestly think that he's Presidential material? It's disappointing and somewhat discouraging to me to think that there are even a few people in the US that would consider voting for the man.
I watched the same debate, but I didn't notice any of the candidates getting applause from a certain section. But, who cares if he did get applause from one section? It was obvious that he had a lot of supports there based on the loud applause he got when introduced, and when he finished answering a question.

How can you ignore that fact that he is winning straw poll after straw poll (and won the NH straw poll). So, to imply that the support was fake, or specific to a few people is as narrow minded as Fox News is.

The vote that he won WAS based on the phone number. You send in a text message from your cell phone, and your number goes into a database so that you can't vote more than once. I don't see what your point is.

But regardless if you love or hate Ron Paul, to say that you are glad he doesn't get more coverage in a bias media system is arrogant to say the least. Every candidate, even the ones you hate, and the ones I hate, should be given equal time and equal questions.

And next time you claim he has no creditability, it would be best to provide examples. I know it's easier to say someone sucks, and not give any reasons why, but I'd love to hear why you think he has no creditability especially vs. the other GOP candidates.

The bobbleheads that run the MSM keep calling it for Romney, and giving points to McCain, or Guiliani, or Huckabee. But this Paul guy has got legs, and when the first primaries come down in the beginning of next year he might be taken more seriously. He doesn't have to win right off the bat, he has to do better than expected, which will give him momentum for the second round. While I don't think he can win (caveat: I swing left ;-) I think its very important for him to be in this race and stir up the pot that he's stirring. The other candidates are noticing, FOX will notice him in time.

I did watch the debate from beginning to end. While I previously had a fairly high regard for Ron Paul because of some of the stands he has taken, I lost all regard for the man with his statements regarding Iraq.

While I believe that we certainly need to address the huge government bureaucracy, Mr. Paul, in my opinion, is not the person to do it! One can continue to "cry" about his treatment in the debates or the press, but I for one, amy very glad that he does not get more coverage than he does. He's a nut case!

All ideas are at first Rediculed, then Oppressed, then...after time and much "struggling" they become Self Evident. Thus the acoronym: R.O.S.E

I am encouraged when one man with courage will stand up and fight for what he believes. Even at the onslaught of Riducule and oppresseion.

Much of the oppression coming from a controlled media, which definitely does not want the populous to even get a glympse of an American Constutionalist.

All it takes for men to slide into "slavery" is for a few good men to do nothing.

Wake up America!
